Frequently Asked Questions – Balistidae
How do I get to
Balistidae?
Getting to Balistidae is surprisingly simple and forms part of the experience. Guests typically arrive in Maputo, Mozambique’s capital, from where a scenic speedboat transfer of approximately one hour takes you directly to Santa Maria. For those more adventurous a 4 hour drive through the Maputo National Park (Elephant Reserve) or a 15 minute helicopter transfer are also options.
The boat journey is quick, seamless, and far more convenient than travelling to many other Mozambique destinations, which often require long drives or multiple flights. From city to untouched coastline in under two hours — it’s one of Balistidae’s biggest advantages.
